The SA Whitney Navy .36 revolver. Manufactured since 1857 when Colt’s patents for revolving and locking mechanis expired. Used in Civil War mainly by the North. About 33000 manufactured. One can read some users during CIvil War liked it. My visit on the range with it resulted in numerous jams caused by exploded percussion cups.
