Description

Bavarian experimental Reinhard Stahl, Hassfurt, 1865 military revolver in 9mm caliber. Closed frame, 5 shot, single action. It is a kind of hybrid of Colt and Adams features.  Closed frame comes from Adams, rotating mechanism from Colt. There is no safety, but the hammed can be lowered in position between chambers. Loading lever resembles Colt design. Bright steel is covered with floral motives. Grips are walnut.

This well made revolver came to play too late. Pin fire and central percussion designs were proliferating at the time.
