Rare Alsop Navy revolver

Scarce revoler made by Alsop family -father and two sons – somewhere in 1862-63 in their Middletown facility. It was manufactured in limited quantity of about 500 pieces. This is first variant with fluted cylinder. Both were manufactured in different barrel length. Even less common (300 pieces) is it pocket size cousine. The same designers are belived to be engaged in construction of more common Savage Navy double action revolver.

The revolver is working fine, has many factory markings and is numbered 369.
